What you can expect
This journal is primarily about my life, music & the occasional fandom diversion (mostly: Critical Role & Dragon Age). I do not have any particular friending policy; I welcome new friends and will usually add back. If you know me from elsewhere, feel free to send me a message. Thanks for stopping by. <3

Secondary Fanworks
You may podfic, MST3K, or create secondary fanwork of any fanwork I have posted. Please include a link to my work and let me know where you've posted yours. Please do not archive elsewhere.

I finished my second story for Critmas and it's uploaded now a whole night early LOL. It ended up longer than I expected for a pinch hit, but I really like it. So I hope they do too when posts go live on the 1st. I've been a little interested in signing up for [community profile] chocolateboxcomm this year, it's been a few years since I participated. But I also want to pick back up the novel from November in January and start breaking it out so I can start a round of edits that'll help me figure out where I need to build/expand. So I'm not sure if I can do both.

Plus, I plan to participate in this year's [community profile] snowflake_challenge again. So that'd be a lot, depending on how in-depth I got with the novel edits. I think the Nano site has an edits focus from January through February before the first Camp of the year starts in April. So maybe if I expanded my time frame for edits through February and get a month before writing again in April, that'd work. (Ultimately, I'd like to have a whole finished first draft ready by 4th Street in June, but who knows. That's realllll optimistic about how edits/writing will work.)

I think having January to ease into writing more original stuff again will be nice. Gonna shift everything from November into its own Scrivener file and really examine what I have so I know what to work on. Once I know that (probably work that New Years Day), then I'll figure the rest out.

If you're new to DW or trying to get back into regularly posting here, come join us Jan 1st for every other daily challenges throughout the month. I know I"m looking forward to it. Doesn't mean I'll stop the New Music Friday posts though. Those are coming back this week, with less ranting about the future of fanmixes. :)
