I honestly wasn't planning to do a new music post this week, because while working on my story for NaNoWriMo, I've only been listening to the same stuff over and over. I really dug deep into Matt Maeson's song, Grave Digger, because it's perfect for my story and I just have a whole radio station built around his stuff that starts with that song. Which means I haven't been looking much into what else came out this week, or watching new videos or whatever.

However, I saw on Twitter tonight that Friday was the release date for a new music video by Megan Lenius. I may have mentioned her forever ago in a bonus section for one of my Friday videos but I don't know how many of you check those out. Besides which, she hasn't had like a real video up in forever, she mostly does Twitch streams a few times a week. I love the bittersweetness of this song and her voice is just nice to listen to. If you're in the habit of watching Twitch streams and want to check her out there, she does a lot of amazing loops for songs you wouldn't expect out of her. She's a lot of fun and the community there is very laid back. [Twitch]

And because it's a little different, I thought I'd share the first playlist I made for this story about a year ago, before I knew it would ever become the project it is now. I had just the most basic framework for the main characters and what their relationship was like, and what secrets they were hiding from everyone else in their lives. This playlist was the result of that. I'm slowly, as I write this month, building a new playlist for the novel itself. At the end of the month, I'll share that too if people are interested.
