New Music Friday | Album Edition
May. 22nd, 2021 02:40 amI've take a break from my current binge of 30 Monedas, an HBO Europe show about a small town in Spain where a priest has one of Judas' 30 pieces of silver and the bad Catholics from some sect of evil doers is trying to get it back. It's horror-adjacent I'd say? Some episodes are scarier or freakier than others. Though I suppose that also depends on how you feel about the Catholic Church too, probably. I do have to watch with subtitles (like I do everything anyway) and the translations in the captions are pretty good.
This week has been a trying one at work and while I have listened to quite a bit, I didn't have a bunch of videos to share since I know most of them were just lyric videos from new albums. There is one brand-new video though that if you've spent anytime on the queer side of tiktok, you've likely heard that had a really beautiful new video drop today. So I'll give you this one and then a few albums at the end to check out.
If you like this song, but prefer something a bit harder, Rain Paris has you covered with her version of "Slumber Party" but make it metal. You can watch that Here
To keep on the pop train, if that's a thing you're in the mood for, here's some albums:
Sour - Olivia Rodrigo
A Woman - Qveen Herby
Amidst the Chaos (Live) - Sara Barielles
Unlearning - Teddy Swims
Have you been listening to anything new this week? I'd love to hear about it.
