While what I'd really like is to recommend Finneas' "Break My Heart Again" every week because it's most of what I'm listening to when I get a chance to listen to music, I did bring some new songs for this week.
I say that to say this, there is a new Finneas song out this week and while it's not as heartbreaking and lovely as "Break My Heart Again" it is also just really damn good.
Next is Qveen Herby who is a goddamn pleasure to listen to and watch. Her videos are always top-notch and fantastic bops. She has a new album coming up and this is the first song from it. It's stunning both lyrically and visually.
Lastly is the newest song from Tessa Violet, "I Like (the Idea of) You". I think her work has changed a bit from when I started watching her videos but I've really been enjoying the new stuff she's putting out. This new song is upbeat and would likely be a big hit if it was being played on the radio.
Also, highly worth a mention, Tank and the Bangas came out with a new album this week called Green Balloon. If you don't know Tank and the Bangas, and you wanna try something different, something heady but with a beat something crossed between Nicki Minaj and India Arie with a New Orleans flavor, then this is your band.
