This week has been a mess. We're launching new code tomorrow and I have to be at the office on a Saturday at 11:30am with no clear quitting time for the day. Hopefully sometimes before dinner. I'm also hoping they provide lunch or something, but there's been no clear word on anything other than come work all week. Ugh. We've also been dog-sitting for a friend's three dogs in addition to our own two and it's been a whole lot. One of them is less than a year and while she's adorable, she has no bladder control and I feel like I have to be on constant alert for her. It's work.

This has been a good week for music though and I've found some new stuff that I've been obsessed with.

First up is this absolutely heart-wrecking song by Finneas that came out two weeks ago. I have been listening to it nonstop all week and while it destroys me emotionally, it's beautiful and I love it so much. It also gave me a good revelation about a story I've been working on, which has been really useful.

Next is this really lovely cover of an old Heart song, "Listen to Your Heart". I've never heard of Roxette before, but her kind of soft, breathy vocals really serve up a lovely rendition of this song.

Last, let me share this really wonderful cover of "Jenny of Oldstones" from Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones (not really a spoiler of any kind). This cover is by Ginny Di, a popular Critical Role Jester cosplayer. She's got a lovely voice and while she's no Florence Welsh, her video definitely still does the song justice.

A couple of other quick song links, in case you need a few more things to listen to:
