It's definitely creepy. As for gore, there is some gross body stuff, but I don't think there's any blood. (So much happens I could be forgetting.) And even the creepy factors is mostly in how confusing things are, rather than any sort of "gotcha" creepyness. If that makes sense. No one jumps out from alley with a knife. Basically it's what I'd call "extreme suspense." And nothing is really... solved. I was expecting someone to put things "right" again, but that doesn't happen.
