You know, I never really thought about it before, but I'm kind of with you on shark movies and others like it that are simply nature doing it's thing. I didn't know if you've seen Annihilation, but that one did a really excellent job with the horror in nature vibes (the ending can get a bit weird, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed that movie).
