We got a pool table because the people moving out of the house we moved into didn't want to take it with them. (Or because our house being for sale was the result of a divorce, I'm guessing neither of them separately had a place to move it into.) I would strongly recommend a full pool table unless you really, really want one though. I love playing pool, but learned pretty quickly it wasn't something I was ever just going to hang out and do without a purpose you you? Which is how it's become the cat hangout. :) And now that I want that space back, it's definitely a pain to think about moving/selling.
