Great idea! I did a mini fanmix for Diana and Matthew of A Discovery of Witches for Day 10 (the create a fanwork) day. The first track I chose was "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS because it's such a theme of their story, the forbidden Witch/Vampire romance and their determination to overcome that and chose their own path.

It's true how when you fall for a ship most of the songs remind you of them, and it's similar for characters, so many songs seem appropriate for them!
