What you can expect
This journal is primarily about my life, music & the occasional fandom diversion (mostly: Critical Role & Dragon Age). I do not have any particular friending policy; I welcome new friends and will usually add back. If you know me from elsewhere, feel free to send me a message. Thanks for stopping by. <3

Secondary Fanworks
You may podfic, MST3K, or create secondary fanwork of any fanwork I have posted. Please include a link to my work and let me know where you've posted yours. Please do not archive elsewhere.

Fannish things I'd like in no particular order:
  • Tranformative works! This seems to be a popular item for a lot of people, but I'm willing to echo the sentiment. I've got a policy for transformative works on both my DW page and in my AO3 profile. Several years back there was a rash of podficcing in the Dragon Age fandom and two of my pieces were done, I even did one for someone else. As someone who listens to a LOT of audiobooks and podcasts, I have to say that I'd love to see some more podfics of my works.
  • Playlists! Mixtapes. Fanmixes. Whatever you call them, I love them. I've had a few made for me through old Reverse Big Bang challenges and they are one of my favorite fannish things to both make and receive. In fact, this is a two-fer requests, because I'd love to make some as well. If you have a fic you particularly love and would like a fanmix for, let me know. With the popularity of Spotify these days (though I'm far more partial to Google Play) making mixes is a much better process than it used to be. Although I like them the old way too and I have all my old ones up on 8tracks still too.
  • Gif making tutorials. Like honest to goodness beginning to end help with how people do their gifs. Especially from live things. I see people making gifs from Critical Role as it's airing and that's like a whole other world to me that I don't understand. I have Photoshop, I've created a few gifs in my day but it always feels like such a laborious process I'd love to know how other people do it and so quickly.

Something new:
This is easy because I'm still going through Yuletide stories and there were so many new fandoms this year that I hadn't read anything for even before Yuletide reveals. In fact I'd only watched Killing Eve in the time between signups and reveals because that's when it Hulu. I binged all the episodes in like two days and I LOVE this show. It's a combination of so many of my favorite things.

Today I read a story for Killing Eve by [archiveofourown.org profile] longwhitecoats called That's Not the Game that's a truth or dare game between Eve & Villanelle that gets sexy very quickly. When I finish going through all my open tabs, it's likely going to end up on my rec list.
